On Monday, Illinois C was beaten by HomeSchool Resource Center 84-26. Illinois C was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead HomeSchool Resource Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Baldridge, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists. Baldridge hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Edrick Jefferson, who scored 28 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Illinois C and nudges their season record down to 0-4. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.
Illinois C does not have any more games scheduled as of now. HomeSchool Resource Center will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Families of Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Families of Faith Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
