The Letchworth Indians will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Keshequa Indians at 7:00 p.m. Letchworth will be strutting in after a victory while Keshequa will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Letchworth has not done well against Caledonia-Mumford recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Letchworth snuck past Caledonia-Mumford with a 46-41 win.
Meanwhile, Keshequa's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 61-35 loss at the hands of Perry. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Keshequa has scored all season.
Letchworth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Keshequa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Everything came up roses for Letchworth against Keshequa in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 83-40 win. Does Letchworth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Keshequa turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
