Baseball Game Preview: Ardmore Tigers vs. East Limestone Indians

For the second straight game, Ardmore will face off against East Limestone. The Tigers will welcome the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Ardmore is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering East Limestone just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-3. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

For East Limestone's part, their win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chris Fitts, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Fitts has posted since back in February of 2024.

The victory was the seventh in a row for East Limestone, bringing their record up to 16-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Ardmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
