The Gallatin County Wildcats's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Henry County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Gallatin County is ranked 188th, while the Wildcats are ranked 213th).
While Gallatin County couldn't quite beat the Raiders on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 27-point loss they were dealt last Friday. Gallatin County fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 45-43.
Meanwhile, Henry County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 35-31 to the Warriors.
Gallatin County dropped their record down to 11-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Henry County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Gallatin County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Wildcats in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 47-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gallatin County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
