Paschal had won three straight games and Ava Dyer did her part to make it four on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1 with plenty of help from Dyer, who had 34 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Paschal was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 20-25, 25-18.

Paschal was led to victory by Delilah Andrade and Delaney Chase. Andrade had nine digs and two aces, while Chase had 12 digs and two aces. What's more, Andrade racked up 21 assists, the most she's had over her last eight matchups.

Paschal's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Arlington Heights, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-7.

Paschal and Arlington Heights should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Panthers will square off against Wyatt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (347 vs. 1447). Meanwhile, Arlington Heights (ranked 509th) will meet Polytechnic (ranked 1416th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
