In what's become a running theme this season, the St. Anthony Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past North Clay/Clay City 77-40 at home. St. Anthony is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Several North Clay/Clay City players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Leah Wetherholt, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Miah Ballard, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
St. Anthony is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for North Clay/Clay City, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will take on the Bombers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Clay/Clay City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
