Dickson has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Tishomingo Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Dickson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-46 to Ada. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dickson in their matchups with Ada: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tishomingo, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were dealt a 48-20 loss at the hands of Silo on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Tishomingo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Silo is ranked 158th).
Dickson's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tishomingo, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Dickson strolled past Tishomingo in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 40-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dickson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
