 Meanwhile,  it may have taken  ten innings to finish the job, but Father Lopez ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Mainland  3-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Green Wave.
 Father Lopez's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Palatka, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Palatka skirted past Father Lopez  5-3 when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Will Palatka repeat their success,  or does  Father Lopez have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
