The Kemper County Wildcats's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over McLaurin. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but Kemper County was the better team in the second half.
McLaurin lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anderson Vidaurri, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Treshun Watts, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Kemper County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for McLaurin, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
