On Friday Davenport take on Kettle Falls at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Davenport found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 26-54 punch to the gut against Colfax last week. Davenport's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Alex Plasensia, who rushed for 234 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in Kettle Falls's tilt against Reardan.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
