The Charlotte Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They took a 50-31 bruising from Falls City. Charlotte was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Falls City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Falls City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dale Shaffer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kain Jurgajtis, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Charlotte's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-27. As for Falls City, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlotte will challenge Stockdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte is facing Stockdale at the right time seeing as Stockdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Falls City, they will head out on the road to take on Stacey at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stacey will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Falls City surely won't give up without a fight.
