The Riverside Warriors made easy work of the Scott Skyhawks  on Saturday and carried off  a  13-1 win. Considering the Warriors have won seven contests by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Riley Smith was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Davis, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Riverside  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scott only posted  an  OBP of  .238.
The  victory made it two in a row for Riverside and  bumps their season record up to 9-5. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Scott, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record  this season.
 Riverside has already played their next game,  a  13-5  defeat against Steubenville on the 12th. As for Scott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  1-0  loss against Lincoln County on the 14th.
