The Urbana Hillclimbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Northwestern 62-20 at home. That 62-20 margin sets a new team best for Urbana this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Northwestern struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Urbana is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Northwestern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Urbana will be playing in front of their home fans against Jonathan Alder at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jonathan Alder knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully Urbana likes a good challenge. As for Northwestern, they will head out on the road to face off against Benjamin Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
