Mountain View has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Clint Lions on Friday. Clint took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain View, who comes in off a win.
Even though Mountain View has not done well against San Elizario recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Mountain View came out on top against San Elizario by a score of 45-37.
Matthew Slosar was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus " gio" Rodriguez, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Clint's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 66-36 loss at the hands of Riverside. Clint was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.
Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Clint, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-15.
Mountain View took their win against Clint when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 61-35. Does Mountain View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clint turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
