It was a good run, but Amanda-Clearcreek unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 48-39 to the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies. The Aces were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Johnnies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Amanda-Clearcreek's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Johnstown-Monroe, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Amanda-Clearcreek will take on Bishop Hartley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they will head out to take on St. Francis DeSales at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
