Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgetown). They put the hurt on the Dillon Wildcats with a sharp 15-3 win on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Tucker Perrow made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Perrow was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Hardee, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Zack Krause, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Georgetown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Dillon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Georgetown has already played their next contest, a 15-3 victory against Emerald on the 22nd. As for Dillon, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dillon Wildcats duke it out with Loris Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loris' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Dillon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
