Even though the St. Luke's Storm scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, the Millbrook Prep Mustangs still came out on top. Millbrook Prep took their contest against St. Luke's 64-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Millbrook Prep also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the defeat, St. Luke's saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Bienaime scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bienaime has scored all season. Gavin Sommers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Millbrook Prep's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for St. Luke's, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Millbrook Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Luke's will be playing in front of their home fans against King at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
