Volleyball Recap: Matthew Suchecki and Paul Rzadkosz Secure Win for St. Laurence

St. Laurence won the last time they faced Montini Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Broncos. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

St. Laurence easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.

Leading St. Laurence to victory were Paul Rzadkosz and Matthew Suchecki. Rzadkosz had ten digs and two aces, while Suchecki had 20 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Rzadkosz has posted over his last seven matchups.

St. Laurence couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 48.9% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

St. Laurence's record is now 11-12. As for Montini Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
