If LaFayette wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Heritage, they should've done a better job of containing Brayden Slaughter. The Generals claimed a resounding 38-10 victory over the Ramblers for which the team can thank Slaughter, who rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 87 yards.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for LaFayette, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Coincidentally, Heritage and LaFayette will both be playing Calhoun the next time they take the field. The Generals will host the Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Ramblers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th.
