On Thursday, Bear Creek is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Tokay at Grape Bowl at 6:00 PM. Tokay will be strutting in after a win while Bear Creek will be stumbling in from a loss.
Last Thursday, Bear Creek couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-42 defeat at the hands of Roseville.
Meanwhile, Tokay took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Patterson 28-6.
Bear Creek's loss took them down to 0-1 while Tokay's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Bear Creek would reverse both their bad luck and Tokay's good luck. We'll see if Bear Creek manages to pull off that tough task or if Tokay keeps their momentum going instead.
