The Carrington Cardinals are on the road again on Saturday and plays the Harvey Hornets at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-40, which was the final score in Carrington's tilt against the Tommies on Tuesday. Carrington has not had much luck with the Tommies recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Harvey pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between them and Velva wasn't particularly close, with Harvey falling 78-61.
Carrington's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Harvey, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Carrington beat the Hornets 59-48 in their previous matchup back in February of 2016. Does Carrington have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
