Arizona College Prep lost against Notre Dame Prep back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Knights fell  3-1 to the Saints. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Arizona College Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-18,  27-25.
 Taylor Rother paced Arizona College Prep's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rother got some help from  Riley Thomson and her 14 assists.  Emma Caldwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
 Notre Dame Prep found their leader in sophomore  Alex Heritage, who  had 14  digs and ten  assists. Those 14  digs set a new season-high mark for  Heritage.
Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17-2. As for Notre Dame Prep, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-10.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Arizona College Prep is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Campo Verde  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep will  challenge  rival Chaparral  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
