Ipswich/Edmunds Central's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Tiospa Zina couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. Ipswich/Edmunds Central were outperformed in the second half 8-14 but had enough in reserve from the first to take the game.
No one had a larger role in the success than senior Ben Kulesa, who brought his A game into the match. He threw 4 TDs and picked up 70 yards on the ground. This was the first game for both teams, giving Ipswich/Edmunds Central a 1-0 record and starting Tiospa Zina off at 0-1.
