Conwell-Egan Catholic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lily Milewski, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Jackson, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Monsignor McClancy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monsignor McClancy will take on Mary Louis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mary Louis Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Monsignor McClancy likes a good challenge. Conwell-Egan Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Archbishop Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th.
