On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Douglass beat Coahoma County 47-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Douglass.
Despite the loss, Coahoma County still got an impressive performance from Caitlin Hall, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 20 rebounds. Hall is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Douglass' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Coahoma County, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.
Douglass will take on KIPP Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Collegiate is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Coahoma County, they will head out on the road to face off against North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
