Stayton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Philomath Warriors a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Stayton's record now sits at 10-7. As for Philomath, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
