It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

1. Phoebus (Hampton) - 304 points
Overall record: 124-11
The Phantoms' five Division 5 state titles and three No. 1 finishes have earned them the right to be called the state's most dominant team.
2. Oscar Smith (Chesapeake) - 246
Overall record: 123-13
The Tigers lay claim to two Division 6 state championships and 10 Top 25 finishes.
3. Stone Bridge (Ashburn) - 209
Overall record: 121-15
Stone Bridge has recorded eight Top 25 finishes, capturing a state title in the process.
4. Amherst County (Amherst) - 205
Overall record: 99-28
An undefeated season in 2007 helped the Lancers capture one of their two state titles since 2004.
5. Briar Woods (Ashburn) - 191
Overall record: 80-22
The Falcons have three Division 4 titles and finished in the Top 10 four times.
6. Gretna - 175
Overall record: 110-19
Gretna has compiled four state championships and one runner-up finish.
7. Bird (Chesterfield) - 166
Overall record: 108-16
Back-to-back perfect seasons assisted the Skyhawks in capturing consecutive state titles.
8. Salem - 163Overall record: 109-19
Salem has finished in the Top 25 seven times and has also won two state championships.
9. Westfield (Chantilly) - 148
Overall record: 101-23
The Bulldogs claimed the No. 1 ranking in 2007 after capping an undefeated season with a state championship victory.
10. Brookville (Lynchburg) - 126
Overall record: 93-33
Brookville lays claim to two state titles and three Top 15 finishes.
11. Richlands - 119
Overall record: 111-20
The Blue Tornadoes have one state title victory, one runner-up finish and four Top 25 finishes
.12. Broad Run (Ashburn) - 114
Overall record: 83-33
The Spartans have claimed two state championships and have finished in the Top 25 four times.
13. Centreville (Clifton) - 113
Overall record: 76-40
Centreville claimed the No. 1 ranking and a state title in 2013.
14. Monroe (Fredericksburg) - 110
Overall record: 99-27
Monroe has compiled three Top 25 finishes, one state title and one runner-up finish.
15. Dinwiddie - 106
Overall record: 74-42-1
The Generals reached the No. 2 ranking in 2013 after a victorious state championship run.
16. Landstown (Virginia Beach) - 105
Overall record: 71-40-1
Landstown has finished in the Top 25 three times and captured one state title since 2004.
17. Battlefield (Haymarket) - 103
Overall record: 74-32
The Bobcats have notched one state title victory along with five Top 25 finishes.
18. Osbourn (Manassas) - 102Overall record: 76-42
The Eagles captured a state title, the No. 1 rank and finished the season undefeated in 2006.
19. Lake Taylor (Norfolk) - 98
Overall record: 95-24
Lake Taylor has finished in the Top 25 five times, winning a state title in the process.
20. Oakton (Vienna) - 97
Overall record: 80-38
Oakton has a Division 6 state title victory and four Top 25 finishes on its record.
