Findlay had won three straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 14-3 to make it four. They put the hurt on the Napoleon Wildcats with a sharp 16-1 win. Considering the Trojans have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Emily Cole was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Findlay got a massive performance out of Ryan Boes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave Boes a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Davinee Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
As for Napoleon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-9 record. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but Findlay's pitcher proved too tough.
On Napoleon's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Thompson (2026), who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
