There's no place like home for the Legacy Lightning, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-54 win over Loveland on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Legacy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Brandon Domsch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Delescinskis, who scored 16 points.
Legacy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Loveland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Legacy will be playing in front of their home fans against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 255th, while Legacy is ranked 87th). Loveland won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Thompson Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 13th. Thompson Valley and Loveland are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
