Union put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the John Battle Trojans by a score of 49-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Union's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for John Battle, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Honaker at 8:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025. John Battle and Sullivan East will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
