Salpointe Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Salpointe Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-19.

Kate Mobley paced Salpointe Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Mobley were helped by Callen Hutchens and Brooklyn Burgle, who contributed nine assists each. Caitlin Hurley and Kiki Muehlebach kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Salpointe Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
