Basketball Recap: Ar-We-Va's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ar-We-Va waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over the Paton-Churdan Rockets. Given Ar-We-Va's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while Paton-Churdan is ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ar-We-Va is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Paton-Churdan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
