Trimble hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tomcats will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Trimble is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Trimble's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Miller as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Tomcats have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava Richards and Alyvia Portier did most of the damage at the plate: Richards went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases and four runs, while Portier went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Portier a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rebecca Patton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Trimble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miller only posted an OBP of .200.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Eastern was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Warren.
Eastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylie White 2027, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Trimble's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Eastern, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trimble has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eastern struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Trimble might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Eastern in their previous matchup on April 9th. Will the Tomcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
