After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Adirondack, Lake Placid was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Johnsburg Central Jaguars 9-8. The victory continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won four in a row.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Johnsburg Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lake Placid is set to square off against their familiar foe Crown Point at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Johnsburg Central will take on rival Indian Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
