On Friday, Idea didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Sherando, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Idea.
Nehemiah Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The match was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Hinton, who scored 13 points.
Idea has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Sherando, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Idea will head out on the road to face off against Hedgesville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sherando, they will be playing at home against GVCS Broadfording on Saturday. Hopefully GVCS Broadfording focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday.
