The Southern Alamance Patriots had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They walked away with a 14-7 win over Eastern Alamance. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Southern Alamance was the (much) better team in the second half.

Orange will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Eastern Alamance is ranked 54th).
