St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy came out on top against Gabrielino on Wednesday thanks in part to Julissa Perez's efforts. Perez wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. The contest was her fifth straight with at least one stolen base.

Perez and St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will be playing at home against St. Genevieve at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Valiants thanks in part to Perez: she scored five runs and stole two bases while going 5-for-6.
