West Jordan won the last time they faced Granger and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Jaguars blew past the Lancers 19-9. Considering the Jaguars have won nine matches by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Dannon Hall made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-5 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, West Jordan got a  massive  performance out of  Brendan Wood, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Wood a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cody Johnson, who  went 2-for-4 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double.
West Jordan has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Granger,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-14.
West Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
