Valley View was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Ashlyn Beale did her best to prevent it. Beale wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her third straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Beale and Valley View will head out to face off against Greene County Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blazers have been dominating on the road and they will enter the game having won nine straight away games dating back to last season.
