Hancock County have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with McLean County at 7:00 PM . Hancock County are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Hancock County came into their this week averaging 30.71 points per game, but Hancock County fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They have to be aching after a bruising 8-35 defeat to Owensboro Catholic two weeks ago. Hancock County's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before.
Meanwhile, McLean County put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Butler County as the squad secured a 42-6 win. The McLean County offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
Hancock County didn't have too much trouble with McLean County the last time the two teams met as they won 34-16.
