Baseball Recap: Sarasota Military Academy Has No Trouble Against Southeast

Sarasota Military Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Southeast Seminoles 15-9. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Seminoles back in February, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Boston Villidoniga made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 4-for-5. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Delrio scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Button scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-5. Button has become a key player for Sarasota Military Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Daniel Palacios, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
