On Friday, Anderson take on Orland at 5:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Anderson had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Red Bluff last Friday. Anderson were down by 0-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Orland couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-48 to Paradise. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Orland was outplayed in the second half.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
