On Friday, things could have been worse for Michigan Collegiate, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-45 loss to Novi.
Aaron Lauer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Novi, scoring 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. Chase LeFevre was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 rebounds and ten assists.
Michigan Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Novi, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Michigan Collegiate will be home for the holidays to greet Detroit Public Safety Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Novi will be home for the holidays to greet Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
