The Teton Timberwolves will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Fruitland Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. Teton will be strutting in after a win while Fruitland will be coming in after a loss.
Teton can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Meeker 41-6 on the road. The victory was just what Teton needed coming off of a 41-14 defeat in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Teton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Nelson, who threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Heuseveldt, who picked up 167 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Fruitland had to suffer through a rough 49-18 loss at the hands of Weiser. Fruitland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Fruitland had strong showings from Coye Coffman, who picked up 56 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Quinn Hood, who picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Teton's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Fruitland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Teton was taken down by Fruitland 43-9 when the teams last played back in October of 2017. Will Teton have more luck at home instead of on the road?
