The Follett Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 74-25 victory over Darrouzett. Follett has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Follett can attribute much of their success to Julian Barton, who scored nine points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of David Meeks, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Follett's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.36 points. As for Darrouzett, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Coincidentally, Follett and Darrouzett will both be playing McLean the next time they take the court. Follett will head out to face McLean at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Darrouzett will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
