The Trinity Hillers will square off against the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
While Trinity's win against South Fayette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hillers never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hillers have posted against the Lions since April 27, 2016.
Jackson Burt looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke Kosko, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Justin Fry was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.
Thomas Jefferson hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gateway struck out eight times.
Thomas Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
