On Friday, The Louisburg Warriors got themselves on the board against the Granville Central Panthers, but the Granville Central Panthers never followed suit. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back wins for Louisburg.
Donte' Strickland jr was a one-man wrecking crew for Louisburg as he rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns. DeMarcus Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Louisburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Granville Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Louisburg will head out on the road to face off against Bunn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bunn comes in on a streak of failing to score more than nine points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Granville Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Granville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Granville is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
