Veritas Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Madelyn Seifert, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. Seifert has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Amya Cuddon, who posted 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Veritas Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Calvary Academy hadn't done well against King's Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Calvary Academy walked away with a 33-26 victory over King's Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warrior.
Calvary Academy's win came from a few key players Veritas Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on.
