Hazel Green lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Gardendale, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Rockets on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hazel Green's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-12. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gardendale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-15.

Hazel Green has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Helena on the 19th. As for Gardendale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-2 loss against Thompson on the 19th.
