Beverly waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts.

Beverly pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Westford Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Beverly will head out to face off against Saugus at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westford Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bedford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Grey Ghosts will need to watch out since the Buccaneers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
